Biofabrication.

Overpopulation and livestock will cause an environmental issue. We are slaughtering billions of animals just for food and fashion. We're slowly killing our planet when we do this, according to the video "Andras Forgacs: Leather and meat without killing animals" we're using 30% of our ice-free land, 8% of our fresh water and these animals generate 18% of greenhouse gases. This is also extremely inhumane, animals are living beings too and they don't deserve growing in farms that have no space for them to breath, being born just to be eaten or being raised just to be used as breedingstock. Maintaining these many animals is not cheap and is incredibly wasteful and it will lead us to a very serious environmental issue. 

Bio-fabrication can be a solution to this problem, It will reduce the amount of biological and sanitary risks that make part of our fashion and food industry and it will be ten times more efficient. We could even control the properties of this leather to make it more breathable, soft and elastic. Our meat will have less probability of being unsanitary, our fashion industry will be almost completely cruelty-free. I completely agree with bio-fabrication and i can wholeheartdly say that it would be a solution to this problem.
